Located on Latrobe Terrace, Paddington, BrisWest Centre is a welcoming and vibrant community-managed space that has fostered community connection, hosted by local seniors since 1972.

In the spirit of mutuality, we are an independent voluntary community organisation. We share enjoyable activities together. We foster creativity, conviviality and community connections across the generations. Our Members are friends and companions; sharing stories in community.

BrisWest Centre is owned and managed by Brisbane West Senior Citizens Centre Incorporated, a registered independent, volunteer-run not-for-profit organisation. We acknowledge our Committee and our Members for eldership, governance and stewardship.

With well-maintained community facilities over two levels, at street-level, our large, light and airy community hall, kitchen/café and library / meeting room is available for hire, to the wider community, at very affordable rates.

Each month, BrisWest Centre hosts more than twenty (20) different activities. From dancing, yoga and meditation, to second hand markets, discussion groups and community forums, there are many opportunities, for people of all ages, to get active and find connection as part of the community at BrisWest Centre.
